Comunidy Account Deletion
Updated September 3, 2026. First published May 17, 2026.
Delete your account in Comunidy
Account deletion is available in the app:
- Open Account.
- Under Account Actions, select Delete account.
- Review what deletion will do.
- Review the details, type DELETE and confirm your request once. Comunidy continues processing it if you close the app.
If you cannot sign in or need help, use Comunidy Support. You do not need to contact Support to begin the in-app deletion process.
What happens after your request
Comunidy saves your request and checks your account responsibilities. It works to end your subscriptions and access and cancel eligible registrations for you alone. You do not need to submit another deletion request while this work continues.
Ownership transfers, shared registrations, family responsibilities, and unfinished payment obligations can require additional action before deletion finishes. The app shows the current requirements and request status. Until subscription cancellation is confirmed, do not assume billing has ended.
Account deletion does not guarantee a refund. Any refund follows the applicable registration and payment policy.
What account deletion does
Completed deletion permanently ends your Comunidy sign-in and access to all communities. It cannot be undone. Your profile name is replaced with "Deleted member," and your profile photo, device tokens, and account-specific read and delivery state are removed.
Deletion does not mean every record disappears immediately:
- Your message content, attachments, announcements, and uploaded resources are permanently deleted, including from other members’ views. A deleted-message marker can remain to preserve replies, without the original text or attachments.
- Family and child records may remain available to other authorized guardians and for safety history.
- Payment, refund, dispute, participation, invitation, and audit records may remain for legal, financial, fraud-prevention, security, safety, and legitimate operational purposes.
Retention depends on the record and purpose. Some retained records may still contain information needed for those purposes; replacement of your public profile does not mean every associated record is erased or anonymized.
Leaving, archiving, and deleting are different
Leaving a community ends access to that community while your Comunidy account stays active. It may leave shared community and payment history in place.
Archiving a child profile removes it from new registration choices but preserves existing participation and related history. Deleting a conversation from your view is not account deletion and does not erase every participant's copy.
Privacy or access help
Use Comunidy Support for account-access problems, deletion assistance, or access, correction, and export requests. The current app does not offer a self-service data-download control. We may need to verify your identity and authority to handle a request.
Do not send passwords, sign-in links, payment-card numbers, or unnecessary child information.
